During the break, a farmer complained to him, "The weather is bad this year, and the fields are full of bugs. If this plane can decorate with pesticides, is it going to be able to do it? "

In 2012, with a team of more than 20 people and more than 400,000 yuan from Xi'an Aviation Entrepreneurship base, ChenJin embarked on the road of research and development of multi-rotor agricultural UAV .
With stumbling, Chenjin's agricultural drone finally came online in 2014, but new tests followed. But soon after a field trial, the plane, initially considered flashy, became an “artifact” that plant protection stations were scrambling to order.

Recently, Shanxi has become another pilot province of UAV subsidy after Guangdong and other six provinces.
At the same time, the Civil Aviation Authority opened the agricultural UAV pilot qualification assessment, requiring the pilot must be licensed to take up the post. "The most important thing is that this is linked to agricultural subsidies." he said.
"Daturation" does not exist in agricultural UAV market.
Chenjin Qiuye: At present, the demand for UAVs in our country is more than 150,000 units, but the domestic agricultural UAVs are still less than 20,000 units, of which there are 7,000 units in DJI, which takes the universal route. We take the custom made route, there are 1,000 units, so the gap is very large. In addition, the UAV service market is also very large. At present, the UAV service market in our country accounts for 2% of the whole Chinese market, and 98% is still blank..

Chenjin Qiuye: Personally, UAV service may slowly show a trend of localization. As for standards for agricultural drones, more data must be accumulated and feedback is needed before a standard can be demonstrated. Now the lead to do this is the Nanjing Agricultural Machinery Institute.
