Plant protection drones have "charging treasure"
Dongxin Farm is the largest state-owned farm in East China, with an area of 200,000 mu of arable land. It mainly grows rice, wheat, soybeans and other crops. Daily spraying and fertilization mainly rely on 120 plant protection drones for operation. Demand is high. According to estimates, using diesel generators to charge UAVs costs 1.6 yuan/kWh to generate electricity, about 0.3 yuan per mu of farmland on average, and spraying pesticides and fertilizers about 20 times a year requires more than 1.2 million yuan in fuel costs. After using the mobile energy storage cabin, the charging cost can be reduced to 0.5 yuan/kWh, which can save 825,000 yuan per year and reduce carbon emissions by 384 tons.
