Recently, in order to comprehensively improve the quality of the river, the east squadron of the Bincheng District Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Brigade applied the drone technology to the river inspection work. The drone inspection has fully utilized the advantages of wide vision, good maneuverability, strong timeliness and wide inspection scope, effectively avoiding blind spots in management, and greatly improving work efficiency and refinement. We investigated the environmental problems surrounding the water system of Zhangxiaotang main canal, comprehensively inspected the problems of surrounding corners of garbage, littered and dumped waste products and to ensure the implementation of odor water treatment.
It is reported that water quality improvement is one of the key tasks of “Six Cities Tongchuang” of Binzhou City East Office. However, due to the complicated terrain of Zhangxiaotang main canal, the manual inspection of rivers is heavy and difficult, and many important regional personnel cannot reach. The specific situation of river dumping and pollution can not be completely observed, causing some residents along the river to destroy the natural environment on both sides of the river (such as private sewage, farming and garbage dumping), thus leading to ecological damage.
The inspection of the river channel by drones not only shortens the inspection time, saves manpower, but also clears the river pollution situation more comprehensively. The drones patrol has overcome many factors such as “wide basin, large area, and geographical location” and so on, and can fully grasp the basic situation of the river. In addition, the images taken by the drone can be viewed at any time in order to find problems in time. The use of the introduction of drones to patrol the river is also an effective complement to the traditional way of patrolling the river.
In the next step, the east squadron of the Bincheng District Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Brigade will unite the Bincheng District Water Conservancy Bureau to centrally control the Zhangxiaotang main canal, plant a variety of green trees, strengthen departmental linkages, form a joint effort, and take measures to establish a river discharge supervision and inspection mechanism. It aims to strengthen the management of waterfront shoreline management, and establish a regular inspection information reporting mechanism in conjunction with the river length inspection mechanism to ensure the comprehensive improvement of the surrounding environment of the Zhangxiaotang main canal, so that the results of the “Six Cities Tongchuang” will benefit the people more sustainably.
