"Severe interference with civil aviation GPS system events, and the company installed drone control equipment to prevent drones from intruding into poisoning.According to the Heilongjiang Provincial Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, recently, they received a letter from the Heilongjiang Branch of the Air Traffic Management Bureau of the Civil Aviation of China. It said that multiple flights of Harbin Airport frequently lost aircraft GPS signals near a certain county, and some flights appeared ADS-B system. The failure seriously affects the flight safety of civil aviation and requests radio interference investigation.On November 2nd, Zhu Zhaohui, chief engineer of the Heilongjiang Provincial Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, led the radio management agencies of the province to monitor the technical forces to carry out special actions to investigate civil aviation interference. After analysis and judgment, it was decided to conduct a pull-net investigation in key areas to ensure “no dead zone” and “no blind zone”. At 1700 on November 3, the investigation teams were assembled.At 18 o'clock on the same day, all the staff set off in a decent way, and the two major roads in the key area extended longitudinally for 80 km and the left and right extended for 5 km. In the end, the technicians located in an enterprise on the 311 provincial road to locate drone control equipment that was used to prevent drones from entering the poisoning and privately. At 21:43, the law enforcement officers ordered the company to immediately shut down the illegal equipment and the interference signal disappeared. At 23:16, with the cooperation of the public security department, law enforcement officers banned illegal equipment in accordance with the law.According to the Heilongjiang Provincial Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the province has dispatched 15 monitoring vehicles, 60 technicians, more than 30 sets of monitoring equipment and 1 set of illegal “unmanned aircraft control” equipment. After confirmation with the Civil Aviation Administration Branch, civil aviation was not disturbed again and the GPS system signal returned to normal. At the same time, according to the Civil Aviation Management Bureau, many airports in the country have suffered similar interference, and the cause of interference has not been identified yet. To this end, Heilongjiang Province timely reported the experience and related clues of this investigation to the Radio Administration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and notified the Provincial Civil Aviation Safety Supervision Bureau and the Air Traffic Control Branch to provide experience for other provinces' radio regulatory agencies to investigate interference.
