Chang Guangzhi said that the successful delivery of the 1,000th product of the Boeing 737MAX inner flap project once again demonstrates the strength of "XAC Manufacturing" and is another testimony to the mutual benefit and win-win and in-depth cooperation with Boeing over the years. We look forward to continuing to work with Boeing under the leadership of Aviation Industry Corporation of China in the future to tap the potential of mutually beneficial cooperation and jointly promote the development of the global aviation industry.
Huang Haihan said that in the future, AVIC International will continue to uphold the principles of mutual trust and mutual benefit, work hand in hand with AVIC XAC, create a new situation of cooperation, and help Boeing achieve greater success in the civil aircraft market.
Mr. Craig Abler delivered a speech on behalf of Boeing. He fully affirmed the friendly cooperation between AVIC XAC and Boeing over the years and said: "The AVIC XAC and AVIC International teams have always ensured the high quality of components and supported our production. On behalf of Boeing, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to you and look forward to continuing to work with you."
The successful completion of this delivery ceremony is not only another achievement of the cooperation between AVIC XAC and Boeing, but also a testament to AVIC XAC’s ability to integrate into the world’s aviation industry chain and leverage its own advantages over the years. AVIC XAC will fully implement the relevant decisions of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China Party Group on the high-quality development of civil aircraft and assume the main responsibility for high-quality development. Facing the recovering international shipping market, AVIC XAC will work hand in hand with all parties to move forward, seize opportunities, and jointly write a new chapter of cooperation.
AVIC XAC has a long history of cooperation with Boeing, and has successively launched cooperation on projects such as B737 access doors, B737 vertical stabilizers, and B747-8 inner flaps. In October 2013, AVIC XAC signed a B737MAX inner flap project contract with Boeing Company and AVIC International, and delivered the first product in May 2016. On December 5, 2022, AVIC XAC successfully delivered 1,021 737 vertical tail MAX configurations, successfully completing the vertical tail delivery of the 5,000th Boeing 737 aircraft. Over the years, it has always maintained high quality and on-time delivery performance, and continued to provide reliable and high-quality products to Boeing, effectively ensuring the stability of the Boeing project supply chain.
