The 4th National Bridge Structure Health and Safety Technology Conference was held in Han, and a new type of unmanned aerial vehicle carrying 40 million pixel lens can shoot up and detect bridge bottom crack; Two "water polo" are mounted on both sides of a railway or bridge to monitor subgrade settlement with an accuracy of up to 0.1 mm

Ultra-high performance concrete

Prolonging the service life of the bridge

Some new materials can increase the congenital life of bridges. Among the new materials announced at the meeting, the most concerned are super-high performance concrete, which has the advantages of high strength, strong durability, low shrinkage and no steam curing. based on this material, the UHPC composite deck technology can solve the problems of fatigue cracking of bridge deck and easy damage of pavement. The use of railway bridges can also be waterproof. This technology has been used in bridges in Taiyuan, Harbin, Jingzhou and other places.

Perspicacious UAV

Discerning fine hair cracks at a distance of 3 meters

In the exhibition area, a huge drone attracted the attention of the public.

The new B-001, with a 1.3-meter wingspan and 40 million pixels lens, can easily fly to a position that is difficult for people to reach and can shoot up without a dead angle to help detect damage to the lower part of a bridge's steel beam, making up for the ordinary UAV can only shooting down the deficiencies. The flight trajectory is set in advance by technicians, and the UAV automatically cruises and detects according to the track in the field, and then, according to the powerful data analysis ability in the background, the safety report of bridge surface damage is automatically generated. The new UAV has the function of ranging and intelligent identification of cracks, and the accuracy can reach 0.1 mm, equivalent to see clearly a hair within 3 meters, which not only greatly improves the efficiency of measurement, but also kills the false test leak in the cradle.

The flight test effect of this new type of UAV is good, especially the bridge detection in the mountain area which is very practical, and the technology is leading in the industry, which is planed to put into use in the second half of this year.

Two little "water-polo"

Monitoring 0. 1 mm settlement of subgrade

In the exhibition area, a pair of small "water polo" also attracted the attention of participants. It is called a high-precision vertical displacement monitoring system.

On both sides of the railway or bridge, two "water polo" are installed, and the vertical displacement can be calculated by the technicians by using the pressure change in the "water polo", and the accuracy can reach 0.1 mm, so as to monitor the settlement of the roadbed with accurate monitoring of bridge safety. The reporter learned that this technology, is planned to be used in Wu-Guang high-speed rail.

Nearly 20 renowned experts and scholars from the bridge field presented their latest research results at the conference. Ou Jinping, an academician at the Chinese Academy of Engineering, said the sensors currently used to detect bridge safety should be "removed like light bulbs" because they are mostly buried in bridge structures, so that they can be better used in bridge safety testing.
