The F-500 heavy-duty coaxial unmanned helicopter is the largest unmanned helicopter in China at present. In 2016, Professor Chen Ming, director of Beihang helicopter Institute, led the team to independently develop and complete the first flight and independent flight subjects in 2017. The aircraft has a total weight of 500 kg, a load of 250 kg, a maximum endurance of 150 kg for 5 hours and a maximum endurance of 50 kg for 12 hours. The dynamic lift limit is 5000m; the vibration acceleration of the airframe in all directions is less than 0.05g; the airframe size is only (length, width and height): 2.3x1.2x1.8 (m); it has full autonomous navigation and flight function, with excellent aerodynamic efficiency, weight efficiency and stability characteristics. It can be used in the fields of integrated investigation and combat, tactical investigation, ground combat, relay communication, logistics transportation, fire fighting, emergency rescue, forest fire prevention and so on. It is small in size, fast in deployment, easy in transportation and maintenance, and low in use cost. It is the representative work of North Airlines unmanned helicopter.
The operation area is located in dongpi village, Aojiang Town, Pingyang County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, which is a hilly area of middle and low mountains in the east of Zhejiang Province. The G6 tower section of the construction site is located on the mountain, with an elevation of about 430m. This is the launching point, surrounded by 220kV high-voltage towers, and the electromagnetic environment is poor. The temporary take-off and landing point is located at the side of banshanyaopanshan Road, with trees and narrow space. The apron area is only 36 square meters. During the task operation, dozens of tower steel structures need to be hoisted from the landing point to the top of the mountain for precise delivery. The maximum weight of a single tower steel structure is 110 kg, and the minimum weight is 35 kg, with different lengths and shapes. The flight route passes through the valley and the wind direction is changeable.
Under the leadership of Dr. Wang Fang, the flight crew carefully surveyed the environment and airspace of the take-off and landing site and the launch site, and formulated a detailed route plan. On the day of the mission, the air temperature was sultry and foggy. With the order of the chief on site, the F-500 heavy-duty coaxial unmanned helicopter slowly took off with a total weight of nearly 200 kg of steel structural parts. After it was separated from the ground effect, it entered the flight mode of full independent flight route. It climbed steadily to the scheduled area of the top of the mountain along the established route at a speed of 5 m / s, and the sound of blade cutting the air resounded through the mountain Valley. After approaching the top of the hill, the helicopter maneuvers to avoid the high voltage tower. When the helicopter completely flies over the dropping area, the high-definition image sent back by the airborne camera, the crew operates the helicopter to descend 15 meters above the dropping point and launch the dropping action. When the steel structure parts accurately fall on the dropping point, the helicopter returns along the original route and lands at the temporary landing point stably. After four sorties, all 16 steel structures were hoisted. At the end of the mission, the participants applauded warmly and took photos with F-500 heavy-duty coaxial unmanned helicopter as a souvenir. The mission flight verified the load capacity, wind resistance, reliability and stability of the F-500 heavy-duty coaxial helicopter. The F-500 lifting and dropping system can load 150 kg of heavy objects, and the posture of the body does not change before and after dropping. The F-500 has the advantages of small volume and large load, which is fully demonstrated in the complex terrain operation in this mountain area. only one van van can transport the helicopter to the mountainside landing point, and complete the landing in a very small space. This is difficult for other unmanned helicopters (single rotor, tandem) of the same magnitude. The F-500 heavy-duty coaxial unmanned helicopter hoisting system is put into the construction site by four sorties, and hundreds of kilograms of tower steel structure are hoisted in one day, which completes the 25-30 day workload that originally required 8 workers + 3 mules and horses, greatly improving the work efficiency. At the same time, the serious problems of vegetation and tree damage caused by road construction and transportation are avoided.
The completion of the lifting and launching task has laid a solid foundation for the application of heavy-duty unmanned helicopter logistics transportation, emergency relief, precise bomb dropping, anti-terrorism and anti riot, and integrated inspection and fighting.
