Liu Qiangdong said that the target payload capacity of heavy-duty drone is 1-5 tons, with more than 1,000 kilometers flight distance, and 100% independent intellectual property right. In addition, on the same day of 618, Jingdong Super Heavy Duty UAV project was formally established, with a target effective payload of 40-60 tons and a flight distance of more than 6,000 kilometers.
In February of this year, Jingdong drones were formally approved to use UAVs to carry out “Logistics Distribution Operational Activities Pilot” in Shaanxi, becoming the first national pilot for drone logistics distribution approved by the National Civil Aviation Administration.
