First use of UAV by procuratorate for investigation and evidence collection

Recently, Dongxiang District Procuratorate, with the technical support of the municipal procuratorate, used UAV for the first time to illegally occupy provincial public welfare forest and build pig farms.
Conduct on-site inspection, shooting and evidence collection, and complete evidence collection and fixation.
This is also the first time that the Institute has put UAV investigation and evidence collection into practical use.
Dongxiang District procuratorate police said that taking advantage of UAV's wide field of vision and wide shooting range, the scene of forest destruction was photographed in an all-round way at an altitude of more than 100 meters, and comprehensive, accurate and clear on-site video and photo data were obtained.
Transforming the traditional "flat" forensics mode into "three-dimensional" forensics mode effectively overcomes the difficulties of field visit and investigation and forensics in the process of public interest litigation. It is a powerful tool for public interest litigation forensics. The subsequent generation of three-dimensional real-world images will play a key role in bringing public interest litigation for them and pursuing claims against the environmental destroyers.
