China U-8ew Unmanned Helicopter (av500w) Debuted at Major International Air Show Abroad

[Global Network Military Report Special Reporter Yang Tiehu] Local time on November 17th at 10 am, the 16th Dubai International Air Show was held in Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai, the "trade capital" of the United Arab Emirates. China Aerospace Industry Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as China Aviation Industry) independently developed the U-8EW Chad Integrated Unmanned Helicopter to showcase the prototype of Dubai Air Show.

This is the first time U-8EW has appeared at a major international air show abroad.

U-8EW unmanned helicopter

U-8EW, also known as AV500W unmanned helicopter, is a light-weight one-unmanned helicopter developed by the Chinese aviation industry for the military and trade needs and installed on the AV500 basic platform.

The U-8EW has a maximum takeoff weight of 500 kg, a practical ceiling of 5,000 m, a payload of 175 KG, a maximum flat flying speed of 170 km/h, and a battery life of up to 5 hours.

U-8EW has strong maneuverability, good concealment, strong assault, good reconnaissance capability and rapid response capability. It can be mounted with small laser guided missiles or machine guns. It can accurately strike ground fixed and moving targets in combating terrorist organizations. It has a wide range of uses in areas such as locations and activities, armed drug abuse and privacy.
