On the morning of the 5th, Chongqing Banan District held the “Launching Ceremony of Science and Technology Helping the Disabled by Yunzhongying’s Science Popularization Volunteers”, with the theme of “Science and Technology to Thrive Agriculture, Love to Help the Disabled” in Wanneng Village, Shitan Town. From now until the end of August, poor disabled farmers in Banan District can apply for free at the Yunzhongying’s Science Popularization Service Center if they need to spray pesticides on the crops.
The reporter saw on the scene that volunteers used drones to help poor families with the disabled which lack of labor in the village, and spray pesticides on crops for free. At the same time, members of the Banan District Women Entrepreneurs Association also cooperated with disabled people on the spot to open up sales channels for their agricultural products through online and offline channels.
The initiator of this event is Xian Min, the head of the volunteers of Yunzhongying Science Popularization Volunteers, and she is also a disabled person. On the rough road of her life, she is not afraid of hardships and self-improvement, and she is still embarking on new journey of ventures and innovations. At the same time of starting a business, she did not forget to use the drones developed by her company to thank the society and help the disabled in rural areas.
For this activity, we prepared 5 drones to spray pesticides. According to Xian Min, as long as qualified disabled people have the need to spray pesticides on crops, they can apply directly, and pesticides are also provided free of charge. Currently, the service is only for Banan District and will be gradually implemented in the whole city.
