On June 21, the 5G Networked UAV Salon hosted by China Mobile ended in Shanghai. Experts from all sides of the drone industry chain and key industry customers gathered to discuss the technology and application development trends for 5G UAV.
This year is a crucial year for China's 5G R&D, testing and application demonstration. In order to promote better communication and integration between the information and communications industries and the vertical industry, and explore 5G application solutions and new business models, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology initiated the "Bloom Cup" 5G application competition at the beginning of the year.
Huang Gang, general manager of China Mobile Intelligent Connection Networked Technology Co., Ltd., said that China Mobile has formed a mature solution for networked UAV and has also made its debut in the first Civilian Aviation Science and Education Innovation Achievement Exhibition.
At this meeting, industry associations, scientific research academic institutions, drone manufacturers, and communication infrastructure service providers all made speeches on the stage to interpret the UAV related policies, analyze the application requirements of the drone industry, and showcase the solution for networked UAV and vision for 5G networked drones.
