Great flight performance at low speed
The structural design of the E2V allows it performing flights at speeds as low as 16 m/s. In contrast, traditional fixed-wing UAVs or hybrid VTOLs are incapable of low speeds which means that unlike E2V, the great majority of fixed wing aircrafts are often incapable of effectively utilizing low-resolution cameras or sensors such as gas sensors and non-milita grade IR cameras.
Flight Performance
Demonstrates great gliding abilities allowing up to 95 min flight time (80mins with 1kg payload)
Operates at speeds of up to 70mph (115 km or 32 m/s)
Maintains slow horizontal speeds of 16 m/s, allowing the capturing of data with low-resolution sensors such as IR cameras or gas sensors (e.g. methane sensors)
Exhibits impressive flight range of 75km radius or continuous flight of up to 150km, significantly further than multi-rotor UAVS
Withstands and compensates for winds of up to 12m/s even in high altitudes up to 5000m.
